Windows NT Not the Future (Yet)

The latest word from the major computer industry web sites
is that the next Microsoft operating system for general
consumers will NOT be based on Windows NT (Windows 2000)
as previously expected.  Windows 98 will have a successor,
most likely in late 2000, based upon its current kernal.
