Windows 2000

Microsoft has officially announced that the next
version of its popular operating system will be
named Windows 2000 rather than Windows NT 5.0.
Microsoft plans to release four versions of 
Windows 2000 sometime during 1999.  One version is
meant for desktop systems like the current Windows
NT 4.0 Workstation and three others are meant for
servers.
