Purpose

Absolute WinInfo is striving to be the best source for finding information about Microsoft Windows.

Back in early 1998, when we saw the current offerings of web sites about Windows 98, something was missing. We wanted to fill that void with a thorough site with enough information and coverage to keep visitors interested in Windows 98. We hope you think of our site as a premier destination to find the best information.

History

July 8, 2000 - Expanded coverage of Windows ME (Millennium Edition) added.

September 5, 1999 - Moved to Barkers.org and renamed Absolute WinInfo.

April 11, 1998 - Windows98.org debuted to the public.
